Charlie Crane

London-born Charlie Crane is a multi-award winning stills photographer and director, whose emotive work strikes right to the core. We love the way that Charlie combines doco style storytelling with a cinematic aesthetic, as well as his broad ability to shine a light on stories that matter.

Charlie’s stills work has been highly praised across the globe, is held in museum collections and has earned him many awards. His collection of stunning large-format photos collected under the title Welcome to Pyongyang, was published by Chris Boot. Charlie evolved into moving image and hasn’t looked back. He loves taking what he learned through stills and applying it to filmmaking, helping to elevate each and every brief he works on.

His recent work includes projects for P&O Ferries, Nokia, Ikea, Adidas and Peugeot, where Charlie showcases his ability to get beautiful and authentic performance from adults and children alike.
