J’veux Sortir Avec Un Rappeur
Alice & Moi
Emma started directing in her early 20s. Her father, a director too, surrounded her with cinema and fashion culture from an early age. She has always been captivated by trends and her unique approach to film making balances sensitivity with humour.
She is inspired by Kubrick’s rigor and madness, the poetry of Leos Carax, and the macabre dialogue of David Fincher.
Emma has worked with brands such as L'Oréal, Charlie Le Mindu, Redken and Cointreau. Her short films have featured in publications including LOVE, WAD and at festivals, most recently at the Berlin Fashion Film Festival.
Her short film "F*cked", was recently selected to be screened at "Female Lens", an event (hosted by Hey Human and We Are Another), celebrating the work of female directors in the advertising and film industries. Three days after Donald Trump took office, he decided to ban funding for international NGOs that promote access to abortion. This decree clearly caused uproar around the world, provoking the indignation of many. Emma chose to voice her opinion in this 5 minute piece of fiction, that plunges us into a dystopian world where abortion is band, and pregnancy monitoring by the state is mandatory.
