An advertising Creative-Director turned filmmaker, Mary-Sue specialises in brilliantly observed comedy performance work. She has worked with many advertising agencies and TV networks including UKTV, Comedy Central and the BBC (where she trained at Elstree Studios in performance direction).
Mary-Sue’s agency background and transition to directing means she has tremendous experience in taking commercials and content from script to screen. No better is this in evidence than with her Haribo ‘Kid’s Voices’ campaign, named as the most impactful ad of 2015 & 2016 by Nielsen. It was also nominated at Cannes 2015, then at the 2016 Craft Awards. The campaign has since gone on to be remade in Spain, Denmark, Sweden, Finland, France and the U.S.A. She’s recently been signed to a production Co. in LA and share the roster with The Coen Brothers among others.
In between making commercials, Mary-Sue is currently in production on her short film and is developing a comedy mini-series.
