Ben grew up in a household grounded in cinema. Early experiments with his father’s camcorder sparked his first skill: editing. He taught himself to cut in-camera by aligning each shot with the last, a playful start that became a foundation.
His short film All Along Sonder Hill, which he wrote, directed, and produced, was selected for BAFTA and BIFA-qualifying festivals. Told without dialogue and driven instead by music as a structural tool, it established a style he continues to explore.
In the early stages of his career, Ben cut sizzle reels for development pitches to Netflix, Channel 4, and other broadcasters. He went on to work in TV production, then joined Warner Bros. Discovery’s features group, before moving on-set as an assistant camera on large-scale productions including The Rings of Power.
Alongside his film and television work, his branded spec projects have drawn attention on social platforms, most notably a collaboration with Wilson tennis representative Dylan Gee. Today, he is developing his first feature script while exploring new narratives in sport, music and fashion, often bringing real stories into his filmmaking to create work with emotional depth and energy.
