Finn McGough is an award winning commercials, drama and documentary director with a background in Fine Art.
As a documentary director he travelled extensively making 'Lonely Planet Guides' in Kenya and Italy, 'Locked Up Abroad’s in India and Thailand, and was even blindfolded and dropped in Azerbaijan as part of Channel 4’s uniquely adventurous ‘Lost’ series. His subsequent self-shot observational docs ‘The Professional Charmer' and 'Summer With The Johnsons' (both BBC) saw hm pick up a PRIX EUROPA for Best Non-Fiction Film and get nominated for a ROYAL TELEVISION SOCIETY ‘Breakthrough Talent’ award.
His list of credits include spots for M&S, Co-Op, McDonalds, Shredded Wheat, Cancer Research UK, Phillips, Budweiser, Visit Wales and Lidl to name but a few.
Commercial awards include a D&AD PENCIL win, a BRITISH ARROW nomination, and an APA Top 50 2015 acrreditation for Shredded Wheat ‘Northern Soul’, a BTTA SILVER ARROWand APA Top 50 2014 accreditation for CRUK ‘Every Moment Counts’ and a BTAA BRONZE ARROW and SILVER CLIO award for CRUK 'The Answer Is Plain'.
