Harry Tomlin is an award-winning director and creative director based in London. Working across commercials, narrative, music and fashion, he combines a distinctive visual eye with an instinct for finding the human element in every story. His recent short You Told Us To Talk About The Weather featuring Michael Sheen uses stark, rural landscape as a character to engage with climate conversations. It will be screened at upcoming BIFA and BAFTA qualifying festivals. Rooted in character, his work pairs a cinematic and textural visual style with a natural approach to storytelling.

Influenced by independent and world cinema, Harry enjoys working with 35mm film, MiniDV tape and tactile mixed-media styles, to blend joyful, poetic nostalgia with social realism. Harry finds personality and humour in everyday situations, and fosters genuine performances from actors, musicians and non-actors alike. His whimsical campaign film for global fashion brand UOOYAA saw London through the eyes of a puppet cat.

His clients and collaborators include Netflix, EA Sports, KFC, Danone, EasyJet, Sony Music, AWAL, Somesuch, Radical Media, UOOYAA, Lola Rose, XGIMI, Minute Shorts, Atmos Magazine, and Brighton Council Foster Care, among others. He is used to working creatively within a range of budgets and brings a hands-on, resourceful approach to every project.
