Andy Lambert is a commercials director, and now AI filmmaker, known for playful, comedic and lovingly crafted films with a strong accent on storytelling, performance and cinematic craft.

With 25 years of live-action directing experience – working for brands including Nike, Guinness, Coca-Cola, Honda, Carlsberg and MasterCard – Andy brings a sharp comedic instinct and a filmmaker's eye to every project, whether that's an elaborately constructed movie pastiche, an intimate character piece, a fast-paced vignette spot, or a musical dance film.

His commercial for The Sun’s World Cup coverage, in which a knockabout game of soccer in an office turns into a stunt-laden riot, bagged the Gold Sportel Awards for the best piece of sports advertising in the world.

That depth of directorial experience is precisely what he brings to AI filmmaking, instinctively shaping every shot through deliberate choices about framing, pacing, tone and performance that only come from a long career behind the camera.

His AI test commercials demonstrate the range of what is achievable and are very much made with the same distinctive voice as his traditional work: Oddbox "Wonky" is a character-driven comedic story following a misshapen carrot's journey from rejection to redemption; Neutonic "The Big Sleep" is a witty four-vignette comedy about people sleeping through life's more exciting moments; and Tecnifibre "Play with Fire" is a high-energy, dynamic sports spot executed with some surprisingly playful humour.

Andy is also the creator of the award-winning The MUTE Series – minimalistic deadpan films made with adherence to three strict rules (no dialogue, no camera moves, one shot only), described by Script Magazine as "ridiculously funny."

He is available for work as both a live action director or an AI director / AI-hybrid director.
