Originally a working-class lad from the north where his local college boasted a solitary Sony PD150 camera, a coveted relic of cinematic potential.

Post-college, Guy navigated various unsavoury occupations in pursuit of the financial means to fund my creative ambitions. Championing my showreel, he secured a foothold in the industry and London became his new home. Fast forward 20 years and armed with unwavering determination, Guy has chipped away at the industry to direct and create an eclectic mix of work covering live-action, performance, VFX, and more.

Guy is undoubtedly a versatile director who can tackle almost any project with exceptional skill and attention to detail, and he has the uncanny ability to elevate a script above and beyond what's on the page. Comfortable working across commercials, content, short films, and AI, Guy has collaborated with global talents, including David Beckham, Wayne Rooney, and Mo Farah, and actors Mandy Patinkin (Homeland), Eric Dana (Euphoria), Alistair Petrie (Sex Education), Ellen Pompeo (Grey's Anatomy), and Oscar-winner Rami Malek (Bohemian Rhapsody), while navigating complex visual effects and extracting compelling performances.

When it comes to narrative, Guy’s short films have been picked up and screened globally at most, if not all, of the biggest genre film festivals, including SITGES, Court Métrange, BIFFF, Raindance, and BAFTA-accredited Leeds International. His work has also pulled in over 1M views online, thanks to deals with ALTER, Crypt TV, and Vimeo.
