I find people who see the world differently — photographers, treasure hunters, bird listeners — and I spend time with them until I start to understand why.

I'm originally from the UK. I studied there before working at Fabrica, Benetton's famous creative institute in Italy.

My films have won multiple awards, played festivals worldwide, and been exhibited at The Guggenheim, The Pompidou Centre and The Tate Modern.  I’ve been selected on talent programs at Berlin and Venice film festivals and IDFA, and have been a fellow at Yaddo and Mesa Refuge.

My first theatrical feature documentary 'In No Great Hurry'- about legendary photographer Saul Leiter - featured on best of the year lists and was described as "A beautiful film about a lovely man" by The Guardian and "Neon Poetry" by The New York Times.

My second feature 'The Lure' about Forrest Fenn's wild treasure hunt in the Rocky Mountains was EP'd by Errol Morris and described as "Gorgeous" and "A fascinating portrait of their enduring appeal, and this country's inexhaustible possibilities" by Indiewire.

I’ve also made films with gold-medal-winning Olympians prison baseball teams and Trevor Noah andhave also directed commercial work for clients such as Adidas, IBM, Ikea, NASA and more.

I am currently preparing two fiction features from my own screenplays, and in production on a non-fiction feature about the language of birds.
